All our products are new and have not been used, they are sent in sealed boxes More than 10 years back us Valve Covers Replacement The valve cover, which is sometimes called a rocker cover, is an important component of the engine. It's a plastic or metal component that is bolted to the top of the cylinder head. The gap between the valve cover and the cylinder head is sealed by a valve cover gasket. Our valve covers are designed under the same dimensional specifications as an OEM part, but with a quality above the original part. All valve covers comply with the protocols and safety requirements. Installation steps for most vehicles 1. Disconnect the battery cables, the ignition coil connectors , the spark plug wires from the plugs and ignition coils and set aside. 2. Remove the ignition coils from the valve covers and mounting bracket, and remove the PCV hose from the valve cover. 3. Loosen the valve cover bolts and remove valve covers and gaskets. 4. Install the new valve cover gaskets onto the new coil adaptor 5. Install the new coil adaptor with the side cut-outs being at the 12 o’clock position and the spark plug wire cut-outs at the 6 o’clock position. 6. Install the new coil adaptor with the side cut-outs being at the 12 o’clock position and the spark plug wire cut-outs at the 6 o’clock position. 7. Tighten down the new coil adaptors with the M6 bolts and rubber seal washers.(Down the center of the adaptor) Torque M6 bolts to 106 Inch Pounds 8. Proceed to installation of ignition coils. 9. Take two of the ¾” spacers and two M6 flat washers and two M6 studs and two M6 nuts and mount the ignition coil to the holes that you marked earlier. 10. Next take the ignition coil harness and remove the black tape that’s around the wires for the coil connectors. 11. Connect the ignition coil connectors to their corresponding coils as you labeled them earlier. 12. Now you should have both adaptors mounted and bolted down, the ignition coils mounted to the coil adaptors and connected to the engine harness and fittings in the adaptors.
